Personal: I am married to my wonderful wife Suzanne, we have two daughters, Natalie (7) and Amanda (4). I am the Managing Director for an Insurance Brokerage (Synaxis Group) here in Atlanta. I was born and raised in Wisconsin and moved to Atlanta out of college. I am an avid Green Bay Packers fan and love the NFL! (Football is a nice break in the offseason!).

We are a very active family and enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors. My daughters both cycle with me on the back of our tandem. Natalie actually rode 3 days of BRAG with me this year and logged 170 miles in those days! I hope to get her into triathlon soon!

Athletic Accomplishments: I have competed in approximately 25 triathlons in 6 years of competing (95-97 and 03-06) as well as a few duathlons, numerous 10K, 5K, Half-marathon and other road races. I have placed 2nd three separate times in the past 3 years in triathons in my age group as well as placed in a few road races as well. I have consistently placed in the top 15% in the overall races I competed in. My last race of this year I was 11th overall out of 600 in the race. I completed the Wisconsin Ironman in September 2006 and was the 2nd overall finisher from Georgia with an 11:35 overall time (337/2600 overall).

I love cycling and have completed many cross state organized rides (Alabama, Wisconsin, Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina).

2007 Goals: My main goal is as always, to get better. I want to raise up in the overall USAT rankings through solid peak performances. I gained significant confidence in my ability to perform by doing well in shorter distance races while training for an Ironman. Also, I would like to be a "contender" for age-group placings in almost all races I enter.
