Personal: I live and train in the beautiful southern Appalachians of Western North Carolina. A long time kayaker, mt. biker and outdoor enthusiast, I found the lure of multi-sport competition at a somewhat late age. Over the past 8 years, My partner Maggie has been the inspiration to help me breakout into endurance running, off-road triathlons, and adventure racing. In 2006, I focused primarily on the XTERRA Offroad Triathlon Series. My job as an Electrical Engineer keeps me on the road for 50% of the year so I spend a lot of time on hotel treadmills. Not all bad as I am a fitness and exersize junkie. Ask me about racing or workouts and you'll get a longer answer than you barganed for.....I love it.

Athletic Accomplishments:

2006:
1st place: Curahee Adventure Duathlon (TEAM SPORT FACTORY)
3rd place Southeast XTERRA Points Series,
XTERRA National hampionships,
US Adventure Race National Championships.
88.7 USAT national ranking.
4-2nd place overall individual podiums
6 age group wins

2007 Races: We have a newly formed SPORT FACTORY Adventure Race Team. Our goal is to make it to the National Championships in October.
Qualify for XTERRA World Championships in Maui
Win the Captain Thurmond's Challenge Offroad Triathlon.
The overall XTERRA Points Series Title would be a bonus!
