Age: 30
Personal: Hello, I am the proud parent of a two month old baby girl, Reese Ann Elizabeth McCambridge. I know that is a mouth full but when your parents are both school teachers what do you expect. Jen, my beautiful wife, teaches orthopedically impaired students at Laurel Ridge and I am a health and physical education teacher at Forrest Hills Elementary. To help pay for my expensive hobby I work as a realtor through Bob Wood Reality. I have lived in the ATL for five years. As a Yankee I went to college at West Chester University (PA) where I ran track/cross country and most importantly met my wife. I currently live and train in Stone Mountain.
Athletic Accomplishments: I have come a long way in four years of competing. When I started swimming I would do a few laps and end up hanging on the wall trying not to drown. I never wanted to race my wife because she would have won! I was riding a 30+ lb mountain bike that I found in the basement. Four years later it looks like I will receive all American age group honors for the first time. So needless to say I am very proud of my accomplishments since 2004.

IRON MAN, AZ. My first Iron man was good enough to get me into world championships in KONA, HI. I had to overcome intense calf cramps in the swim and run that left my legs black and blue. I consider this my best triathlon to date.

2008 goals: I feel I am ready for a break through year. With the help of the Sport Factory and my new team mates I expect big things in 2008. My first goal is to heal a nagging achilles tendon injury. If all goes well I would like to do the Florida or Macon Half this spring. This summer I would love to place top 3 overall in some local races. Finally, once again, I have the Iron man bug so if all goes well I would like to try one in ‘08.
