Coach: Holly Marzetti
Age: 15
Personal: I am currently a freshman at Centennial High School. I started swimming at Swim Atlanta when I was eight years old, and that led me to the Ironkids triathlon when I was 11. My bike speed was barely 10 mph, and I placed 22nd out of 25 in my age group. And even though I came across the finish line throwing up, I decided that I would try a few more races. That summer, I raced a few local sprint distance races, and I finished the season by winning my age group at Peachtree City. I raced several more races in 2006 and ended up being 29th in my age group in the national rankings. During the 2007 season, I got my first overall win at the Summer Sizzler triathlon. I also set the school cross country record in the 5k with a time of 18:52.
