Personal: 3rd year student at Warren Wilson College in Asheville, NC, studying Biology and working on the forestry crew. Grad school in a couple years, and I eventually want to teach and coach. College is awesome. Running and mountain biking are my main disciplines, but I've also done a few Xterra Tris and am just getting into Adventure Racing...I'll play just about any sport and do just about anything so long as it's outdoors...

Athletic Accomplishments: 6 marathons since 2004, including Boston. Collegiate Mountain Biking: 5th Place Omnium at Nationals 2004-2006, 2nd place (team) those same three years. Conference Champion in 2006. Xterra Southeastern champ (age-group) in 2005, 2nd place (age-group) at Midwestern Champs in 2006, and 2nd place (age-group) at Xterra Worlds in 2005.

2007 Race Goals: I want to fine-tune my training to focus on speed and power, and to increase my core and upper-body strength in order to improve my overall athleticism. I want to win some events, especially on the bike. I'll be racing almost every weekend once March hits, mostly mountain bike, maybe some road, and a couple adventure races this spring
