Personal: I am married and have two sons, Reese (14) and Warren (10). I am an active volunteer for two childhood cancer charities, Camp Sunshine and Teachers/Coaches Curing Kids Cancer. I enjoy competing for many reasons. Fun, the friendships and being a positive example for my sons are probably the most important to me. Having a race season and goals planned out helps me stick to my training plan. I love setting a goal, working to accomplish that goal and finally meeting the challenge.

Athlete History: I have run 5 marathons, including qualifying for and running the Boston marathon. I started doing triathlons in 2002 and have consistantly placed in my age group.
