Ministry Mission

The purpose of God's Glory Athletics is to equip believers with a bold and unique way to witness and share their faith with others.

Ministry Plan

An athletic team uniform with the God's Glory Athletics logo will be designed for many popular sports. Each sport will have its own unique uniform or jersey with its own color combination. On every uniform, there will be at least one God's Glory Athletics logo, a reference to www.unfulfilled.org (our partnering ministry) and at least one Latin phrase. Some of the sports represented will be baseball, basketball, cycling, golf, martial arts, running, tennis, triathlons, softball, general athletic, etc.

The Latin phrases prominent on each of the jerseys are there to encourage interaction between the wearer of the uniform and a stranger or an acquaintance. The idea is for it to prompt a question about what the phrase or phrases mean, to which the wearer can respond with the biblically based English translation. Hopefully, this initial questioning can act as a catalyst for further conversations giving the God's Glory Team member a chance to witness verbally. Some of the Latin phrases that have been chosen so far are:

* quaere verum = seek the truth
* a cruce salus = from the cross comes salvation
* quinon proficit deficit = he who does not advance goes backward
