Clinton Pritchard

Personal: I have been an Atlanta resident for a little over five years. I work as a project engineer for one of the largest heavy construction contractors in Georgia, C.W. Matthews. This is my third season participating in triathlon and feel that I can finally refer to myself as being a triathlete. I enjoy training/racing as means to relieve stress and also meet better people.

Athletic Accomplishments: I have taken a higher intrest in the olympic distance triatlhons, they seem to be a challenging races without getting totally rocked. I tend to focus more on distance running during the winter months, participating in half and full marathon events. This year I was able to complete my first Ironman in Lake Placid, New York. I took second in my AG at the Macon half-iron this year, as well as AG placements in a few olympic distance races. It has been a suprisingly good year so far.

2007 Goals: I completed my goal for the season by finishing at Placid, thirty minutes fast than my goal time. I am now setting my goals toward ultra-marathons, hopefully leading to the Western States 100
