Kat Tindol
Kat brings a lifetime of endurance sport competitive experience to the table. She grew up in south Florida pursuing competitive tennis and cross country through high school, and continued running through college at Florida State University where she graduated with a degree in Education.
Post graduate Kat pursued marathon training and qualified for the Boston Marathon. She joined Team in Training, and It was there that she decided to share her passion with other athletes by becoming a TNT coach. After attempting her first triathlon she was hooked and decided to pursue it as her primary focus.
This lead to a successful triathlon career in which she competed in six Ironman races. Kat won and placed overall in numerous races, as well as qualifying for USAT Nationals and the 70.3 World Championship. She distinguished herself as a USAT All American triathlete four years in a row (2007-2010).
Known for having one of the most formidable bike splits, Kat segued briefly into road racing, winning the Georgia State Time Trial Championship, and competing in criterium and road races.
Kat believes strongly in giving back to endurance sports. She was the coach for the Suwanee "Girls on the Run" program as well contributing greatly to her local junior cycling team. She has mentored many to take up the sport as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and coach. Her philosophy is that dedication + consistency + determination
= Success!
Kat understands that life intervenes into the most well structured training plan and this will cause schedules to change. Her role as coach is to ensure that the plan is adaptable and that the athlete can still move forward towards success. Coach and athlete will work together, adjust, adapt; and overcome.
