Jon Adamson

Jon Adamson has been involved in endurance sport competition since 1982.  He discovered his passion in the training, competition, and personal interaction with the people he came in contact with.  He also realized that if he stayed focused, worked hard, and most importantly applied an intelligent training plan that he could compete at a high level.

Jon was chosen to represent Team USA in triathlon 7 times and has won two silver medals.  He was a National Age Group Champion and placed 2nd, four times.  He was also an age group Ironman World Champion and podium finisher four times.  In 2006 Jon won his age group at the 70.3 World Championship.  He has been named USAT Grand Master Athlete of the year.

Jon is a Level II USA Triathlon Coach and licensed by USA Cycling.  He is a Sport Factory Certified Power Coach, and USA Cycling Licensed Power Coach.  Jon takes a very methodical and measured approach to his coaching, no matter what level the athlete is.  He has taken athletes from the back of the pack all the way to the podium.  From local competition; to national, and then to world.  He understands that organized communication is key to a coaching relationship, and that you can not manage what you can't measure.  This includes...
