Personal:  I am a native Texan as I grew up in Dallas, TX. My parents still live in Dallas and my sister and her husband live in Austin. My father's company manufacturers, markets, and distributes the On The Border consumer products (chips, salsa, margarita mix, bean dip, fajitas, queso, etc.), so if you have not tried any of these products, you can get them at your local grocer, Sam's Club, Wal-Mart, etc. I eat chips and salsa on a daily basis and consequently have noticed very positive results in my triathlons.

I am married, and my wife's name is Carrie; Carrie is my triathlon manager, photographer, cook, travel agent, and motivator.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and am currently pursuing my MBA from Georgia Tech. I have accepted a position as a Marketing Manager with Johnson & Johnson in Horsham, PA and will begin in August.

I enjoy competing because without it, I probably would not workout. I need something to look forward to, something to accomplish; currently, triathlon is that something. I plan to try rowing or crew once my triathlon career is over.

My background is swimming as I was a high school All-American and swam collegiately at Georgia Tech. My other strength is running and with more development on the bike, I will be right where I need to be in triathlon.
