Easton Delta Force Pursuit Bar

Easton is one of the first manufacturers to use new nano tube technology in their carbon fiber products. What this means is more strength with less material (weight), and the Delta Force pursuit bars are the lightest on the market.

There are a lot of one piece or combo aero bar / pursuit bar packages available today. The downside of many of these products is that the aero bars are not very adjustable (if at all), come in limited sizing, and are not much lighter than traditional aluminum bar set ups. They are also very expensive. The Delta Force allows you to clip on an aero bar of your choice. This means you can create a custom combination that is as light as anything out there for a fraction of the price of a full carbon set up. I choose the Syntace SLS model aero bar for my bicycle.

The Delta Force is solid with almost no flex, even out of the saddle, and very ergonomic. The aerodynamic airfoil shaped aero wing design also creates a comfortable platform for your hands while climbing. There is an additional hand position on the ends of the bars that a lot of rounded bullhorn designs do not have. I found this position great for sitting up and climbing as well.

Are they pricey? You bet they are; retail is $229.00. The latest technology never comes cheap.
