
This class is designed specifically for the unique needs of triathletes, runners, and cyclists. Athletes meet in small groups to work on running form, sport specific strength training, and flexibility. An invaluable off season tool to prevent injury, restore muscle balance, and increase economy.
The Process
The class is progressive and begins with a strength acclimation phase. It is common to do "too much, too soon" when beginning a strength program and the initial classes will be targeted on proper form, execution, posture, and mechanics. Running form / drills will be incorporated and the class will conclude with a 5-10 minutes of flexibility training.
Each week will be a bit farther along in the progression with a more aggressive mix strength / core training. After a solid base is established, plyometric phases will gradually be introduced.
Meet Mon/Wed/Fri 8am or Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri at 5:30pm and Saturdays 9,10, and 11am.
