Amy Kloner Does it Again

PMO_-_Amy1.JPG
Amy Kloner wins the 2007 Long Course Duathlon National Championship at Powerman Ohio by a comfortable margin and her third strait duathlon win.  Amy started the season with a win at Powerman Alabama and went on to earn the Short Course Duathlon National Championship title.  Not only was she the top amatuer at the Long Course National Championship in Ohio, Amy lead most of the pros; finishing with the second fastest female time of the day.

"This was a challenging but beautiful course, and we all worked very hard.  Winning this race was very meaningful, since I had some special people cheering me on, including my high school track coach, John Fuller, along with both of my parents, and my coach from Atlanta, Matt Russ from The Sport Factory, who was also racing. Just like in high school, there was nothing but pride and hugs from Mr. Fuller when I crossed the finish line; regardless of the result.  Winning the race was just a major bonus!"

The race also qualified her for the Duathlon World Championship in Richmond Virginia where she will be one of the top women representing the US.
