Shoup Wins SE Championship

Michelle Shoup of Team Sport Factory won the 2008 Festival of Flowers Olympic distance triathlon with a time of 2:13:15.  Although her focus has been on the 70.3 distance this season, she has excelled at shorter events with a 6th place amateur elite finish at St. Anthonys triathlon and a 3rd place finish at the Clemson Sprint Tri.

Michelle was followed closely by team mate Kris Kester who placed 3rd Overall, as well as Katherine Tindol (8th OA / 1st AG 40-45) and Katie June (9th OA / 1st AG 15-19).   

Festival of Flowers was the USAT SE Regional Championship and a National Championship qualifier.
